How Our CSA Works

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a partnership between farmers and members. By joining, members commit to supporting local farms throughout the season in exchange for a weekly share of fresh, seasonal food.

Shares reflect what’s growing each week and may vary in content based on seasonality and availability.

Payment & Commitment
  • ​​CSA shares are offered as monthly subscriptions or as a one-time full season payment during the active season.

  • Members agree to a minimum commitment for the season.

  • With a monthly subscription, payments are processed automatically each month.

  • All CSA payments are non-refundable.

This structure allows farmers to plan, plant, and harvest with confidence.​

Holds & Missed Pickups
  • Each member may request one hold per season.

  • Holds must be requested at least 7 days in advance.

  • Missed pickups without notice are not refundable or replaceable.

This policy helps us plan harvest quantities and reduce food waste.

Communication

Members receive a weekly email with:

  • Share contents

  • Pickup reminders

  • Farm updates and notes

Please ensure your email address is current and check spam folders if needed.

Pickup & Distribution
  • CSA shares are available for pickup at the designated location(s) on scheduled pickup days.

  • Members are responsible for picking up their share during the posted time window.

  • If you cannot make pickup, you may:

    • Send someone else to pick up your share, or

    • Notify us in advance to donate your share 

Unclaimed shares may be donated after the pickup window closes.

Share Contents & Substitutions
  • Share contents change weekly and are based on seasonal availability.

  • Exact items and quantities are not guaranteed.

  • If a crop issue arises, we may substitute with a similar item of equal value.

Add-Ons

Optional add-ons (such as eggs, or bread) may be available.

  • Add-ons are billed alongside your CSA share.

  • Availability may vary week to week.
