Welcome to
Sweet Acacia Farm

Our Story
We became stewards of our land in 2021 with a simple vision: to build a homestead rooted in care for the land, for the water, and for the rhythms of this place.
Our land sits in Cochise County, where desert meets sky and the monsoons shape the seasons. From the beginning, we knew we didn’t want to force anything. Instead, we chose to listen. We studied permaculture and let its principles guide our choices working with the land’s natural cycles rather than trying to bend them to our will.
We use on-contour swales and earthworks to slow and sink rainwater, helping rehydrate the soil and rebuild the land’s natural resilience. Around here, we say we plant the water first then the trees, herbs, and seeds that follow.
We started Sweet Acacia Farm in 2024 and while we sit on 100+ acres of land, the actively managed farm is small and intentionally so. We're experimenting with native plants, wild foods, and climate-adapted crops.
We are also growing microgreens with the intention of providing nutrient-dense foods while we continue to build out our long-term systems.
We aim for minimal inputs, long-term thinking, and a deep respect for the ecosystem we're part of. Everything we do is part of a bigger question: What does it mean to grow in harmony with the desert?
We don’t have all the answers, but we’re learning as we go. And we’re glad you’re here to learn with us.
